Japanese Gardens

So about 6 weeks ago, we decided to explore Fresno a bit more. I found the "top 10 things to do in Fresno" on a website. So far, the list is nothing to get you excited about..... We headed out to Woodward park, which you have to pay to get inside and is nothing special. Inside the park are the Japanese Gardens, which online looked really neat. Again, you had to pay extra to enter the gardens and although these pictures may look kind of cool.... it really wasn't. The gardens were TEENY TINY and we saw the entire thing within 10 min or less. Talk about disappointing.

Checking out the Koi ponds... William did enjoy watching the fish, turtles and ducks swim around.

We kept hearing these strange sounds... so we started exploring and discovered the gardens had TONS of peacocks roaming around. That was actually pretty cool, there were some with the beautiful feathers and a lot more without feathers. Not sure why they are different... maybe the difference between males and females?

Fun adventure to at least to get out, explore and be with family. I guess you can't really complain right? Look at these two guys!

Well at least you got out of the house together.

The male peacocks are the ones with the beautiful tail feathers. Even though the garden wasn't the greatest, it sounds fun getting out and doing "the top 10". :)

We wanted to see all that cities we've lived in have to offer as well. I totally back you up in doing that! (even if some of the top ten are totally lame) What fun adventures you have ahead of you!
