The weather is a roller coaster in Virginia. It's warm one day, and snowing the next.... But when its warm we try to get outside and enjoy. Exploring a park close to our home with a train car. 

Dale and I took the kids bowling. It was a fun afternoon out before Dad headed back to work for a few days. Plus it's adorable to watch kids bowl in those shoes!

Target was having a Dr. Seuss Birthday party one Saturday. So we invited a friend to join us and went. Kids collected a few fun activities and had a story time at Target. Kind of lame but fun.  

We then headed over to our library for an Indian Holi color festival!

We learned about the culture, tasted different traditional snacks and drink and the kids got a henna tattoo. 

 

Outside we had a mini color run- the kids LOVED it!

 

  

 

Luckily it was pretty windy so most of the chalk blew away. The kids thought it was very neat anyway and it was fun to introduce them to the culture. Bring on Spring!
