For Spring break we decided to go visit Washington!
We flew out of Richmond, VA so we were able to spend some time with Jeff, Abbie and Ella!
A really fun park in Richmond!
Will was loving this race car in the Richmond Airport
We finally were able to get out of Richmond! After 3 legs thru Newerk, Denver and finally Pasco along with many hours of layover, we made it!
Trying to find things to keep us busy in the Denver airport.
Kids were so tired after all the travelling and the time difference. Addison slept like this the entire last flight. It was adorable. Will slept hard and had dead legs when he awoke. Ouch!
They had been SO excited to see Gpa and Gma, but were so tired it was a pretty dead greeting. :(
So glad to finally be at Grandpa and Grandma's house! Will couldn't wait to play with the miniature dinosaurs on the stairs.
Grandma had a few fun surprises waiting for the kids. These eggs hatched in water over a couple of days and we got a chick and bunny.
Helping Grandma pick new glasses and trying on some kid pairs!
Dale was able to come for a few days as well! We dyed Easter eggs
Washington is definitely Seattle Seahawk territory. Not sure I'd like to live in a house this crazy, but funny to see!
Grandpa found Addison helping in the office
We went up to White Pass and took Will skiing! It was my first time trying skiing as well, so much fun!! Will and I spent the entire afternoon on the bunny hills, while Dale did the mountain and few times. Dale was a super patient and awesome instructor and Will did amazing! He had pretty much mastered the bunny hill by the end of the day! Pretty cool!
We held Addison a few times and went down the hill with her. She loved that and would say "faster!"
Most of her day was spent in the lodge with Gpa and Gma. She did meet a new friend and had a good time.
On our way up to White Pass we stopped at Teapot Dome! We had seen this landmark made out of plants in the DC Botanical Garden last year. So it was fun for me to see it in person.
Headed home after a fun week!
The next day Addison fell asleep while I was making dinner. Sleep deprived and time changes takes its toll!
