About a week after purchasing our new house, the kids and I decided we better take a road trip to go see Daddy and the new house. We were all SO excited! Addison helped me pack some snacks for the trip, my friends helped me load the van with stuff Dale might need to live in the house before we moved in and we were off!
We took a few breaks to stretch, get gas and eat.
When we got to the house we were welcomed with a huge bouquet from the previous owners saying welcome to our new house!
The kids had A BLAST exploring the new house, choosing bedrooms and making up games to pass the time since we didn't have much.
Easter Morning
We found Easter baskets, had fun finding Easter eggs in our big backyard and went to our new ward and primary!
While we were in Mississippi we tried out a local homemade ice cream joint.

The LDS Temple in Memphis was reopening so we were able to walk through the open house. It was so fun to see and show the kids! Also, we are so grateful to have a temple super close again!
It was fun also because we scheduled to have our new washer and dryer and lawn mower delivered. Such fun and exciting things happening!

How fun to explore your new area! I love that the previous owners of your house sent you welcome flowers! That was so thoughtful! How cool that the Memphis Temple was reopening too. It is so nice having a temple close by.
