Over Easter weekend, Dale and I escaped on a mini vacation...ahhh... it was so nice : ) Dale's Mom came and watched William, so we were able to really get away! We missed Will but he hardly noticed we were gone he had so much fun with Grandma!!
We headed to Vegas, it was beautiful weather and we had such a great time. This is the view from our hotel room, we were right off the strip. It was especially nice at night with all the lights of the city. Although that sounds glamorous, this place is crazy... we heard sirens constantly... it would get old fast, if you lived there.

| We walked the strip a few times, as it was the way to get to the buffets and good food : ) Otherwise, I would avoid that place because it was super crowded and hectic. However, I do love watching the Bellagio fountains. So nice!!! |

| Harold (Dale's cousin) and Jeanna came and stayed a couple of days with us as well. We have missed these guys since we moved away and we had so much fun together! |

We took it pretty easy and didn't do too much.... we were there for a relaxing get-a-way. Dale kept saying, (using his Dad's words) "we are going to start slow... and taper off".... that's pretty much what we did, and it was perfect.
Funny Story: A few of Dale's co-workers found out he was going to Vegas and were super excited for him and jealous that he was going to gamble and 'all that stuff'. When they asked Dale what we were going to do while we were there and he told them..."Hoover Dam and relax", the one guy said...."that sounds terrible" Ha ha, funny.
