This year the Christmas season was a little different than normal. We spent the month trying to do our usual traditions while not seeing each other too much and spending all spare time packing and cleaning. It was different but actually fun and will be a good memory for years to come. Dale was super lucky to get the holiday off from work (we never thought that was going to happen), he came home on Christmas Eve morning and we had a great time being together. Christmas Eve we were doorbell ditched and found an amazing care package to help us on our cross county move. A big thank you to our secret friends!
Will was very excited to make cookies for Santa!
I captured his enthusiasm as he was telling Dale about how Santa was going to be on our roof and we would hear a "big" noise. The next morning he was sure he had heard him up there!
The next morning he was perplexed as to why Santa didn't finish all the cookies and took a bite out of one of them.

After a few hours of relaxing and enjoying each other we took down Christmas decorations, packed them up and finished cleaning the place. By the afternoon we were finished so we ordered Chinese takeout (one of the few restaurants open) and went over to our dear friends house to enjoy the evening. They had just had their new baby girl so they were having an unusual Christmas as well, we enjoyed our Chinese food and had a great time. Merry Christmas!

I love all your pictures but I especially enjoy seeing Grandma's quilt hanging in the background! I am so glad you like it enough to hang it.
