Fall Creek Falls

So many pictures but we had the BEST weekend exploring Fall Creek Falls State park in Tennessee. It was perfect weather and a beautiful area. We rented a cabin right on the edge of the lake and we were right next door to our friends from Winchester, VA. It was so good to catch up and have fun together!

We started off the weekend by trying to fish off our back deck. We didn't ever catch anything but we had fun trying. Plus it was a beautiful morning with lots of fog. Felt nice and cozy.

Later in the day I took Will and Addison on a treetop obstacle course. It was SO MUCH FUN! Ziplines and fun things to climb on and through. Kids had a blast and Dale was an awesome sport to watch from below and play with Jameson. :)  The next day, Will and I went back and did the more advanced courses. They were HARD and really high up but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and can't wait to try it again!

We met up with our friends to explore and hike Fall Creek Falls. It was a long and pretty difficult hike down to the waterfall. Kids were amazing.

One morning we all headed to the golf range. That was fun and the kids had a good time trying to hit the ball. Last time Dale and I did this was on Christmas day on our honeymoon, so it was fun.

All the kids had such a blast playing together. Long, lost friends!

More hikes, more waterfalls!

One full day we rented paddle boards and canoes and spent the entire day on the lake. It was a great day! The kids and adults had fun exploring, swimming and playing!

Drove up and saw a beautiful sunset one evening.

Such a fun weekend and one we have decided to recreate as much as possible. We can't wait until next year!
