This was a fun island to explore! We went on a bus ride across the island and then a small boat ride out to a smaller island that had a lot of ruins. The smaller island used to be used for defense and then eventually became a leprosy colony. Pretty fascinating.

After our boat/island tour they fed us the MOST amazing Greek meal ever!!! So many courses and it was all so delicious! 

 

 

Exploring and shopping in the main village before getting back on the cruise ship. They mentioned the reason why the air was so dusty/hazy was due to big wind storms bringing sand from the Sahara desert. 

 One afternoon in the middle of the ocean we came up to another cruise ship, where some cargo was transferred. The two ships played fun horn songs back and forth and it was fun to watch!
