Pompeii

 

Being serenaded while eating a delicious meal

 

Pompeii was entirely unexpected!!! Learning about Pompeii growing up I always thought it would be really neat to visit because of its fascinating history. I had zero idea how HUGE the city of Pompeii is! We spent hours walking around and didn't even come close to seeing all of it. The civilization that lived here were really wealthy and had indoor plumping and very advanced technology for their century. Really incredible that so much has been preserved due to Mount Vesuvius and even more amazing is that they are still discovering and unburying parts of the city. Just incredible to explore! 

 

 Back on the ship having fun with eachother- taking dance lessons, comedy and great shows all week long!
