Blue Angels

A few weeks ago we headed to St. George for the Blue Angels airshow! Dale's brother, Dane, came with us and we all had so much fun. These two were worse than 2 little boys in a candy store, there were SO EXCITED!!!
It started out being a wonderful day, slightly windy but not bad..... as you can see, the clouds are starting to gather. We enjoyed touring the aircraft and watching the different airshows that were happening before the Blue Angels began.

This is a C-17, it was huge!

Dale sitting in the pilot seat :)
Blue Angels as they are taxiing down the runway!

It was an INCREDIBLE airshow. WOW
They did amazing tricks and seemed to defy gravity at every turn

The weather on the other hand was not so amazing.... we basically enjoyed the Blue Angels while being in the midst of a St. George desert sand storm, it was miserable.....Dale called the weather a Utah haboob.
Looking at all the cool planes they had like this KC-135.

The airshow before the Blue Angels included the Osprey.

Boy, look at you throwing the names of those planes out like you're the pilot! Way to go Leisa. The day looks better than I remember it weather-wise.

Great pics.
