An update on Will

Its been awhile since I've updated this little guy, so I figured its time. Lately, we've been focusing on not so much tv/ipad time and more quality based learning. TV turned into more of a background noise rather than watching it.... that's a huge no no for me, if its going to be on then we're going to be sitting and watching it. Its actually been a lot of fun, Will doesn't miss watching cartoons in the slightest- in fact it made me realize how much I miss it..... But we've had a lot of fun and have seen some definite improvement on his learning skills. He finally has his colors down, still misses a few of the tougher ones but in general he knows them! Yay! Colors have been a long time coming for this kid.

We play a lot more games to get those imaginative skills working, have a lot more activities in our day and spend more time outside. Its been great. Here is our art activity-- painting.

This picture says it all... he is a funny kid. He doesn't love having his hands all dirty. He definitely gets them dirty a lot but he also, at times, hates it and wants them wiped before he does anything else. 

They are proudly hanging on our wall and he loves telling us about his pictures.

A few other updates. He is over 2 1/2 years now.... crazy. He is 32 ish lbs, 37.5 inches tall. He hates getting his hair cut, its traumatizing to him. He is a picky eater but I can hide lots of good stuff in pancakes/muffins/smoothies and he'll eat those like a champ. He talks decently well, can't really understand some of his stories, but he usually gets his point across. He still loves his cars/trucks and plays with those all day long. He even takes baths with his cars, he occasionally kisses them goodnight and take them with us everywhere. He is infatuated with sirens and loves spotting firetrucks/police cars/ or any vehicle with lights on top. 

He is a pretty silly guy and loves to laugh and act crazy. He is so much fun and we love this kid!
