Sequoia National Park

We headed up to Sequoia this last weekend to see the World's BIGGEST tree.... yes, you heard me, the BIGGEST tree.... 2400 years old, if I remember correctly! We got a National Parks pass for Christmas (well, the $ to buy one) and we finally got it and now have 1 year to explore as much of the outdoors as we can!!!! I am so excited : )

We have 3 National Parks within 90 min of our front door, so it makes for some nice day trips without feeling like you're gone all day and exhausted by the end.

It was such a nice day, slightly breezy and cool in the shade but overall nice weather. It was wonderful to get out, breath some fresh, clean air and run around!

The Pine cones were enormous, it's bigger than Dale's head... crazy!

There it is.... General Sherman

It was impossible to get the entire tree in a picture up close... but this was pretty close.
