A few weekends back we headed into D.C. for the day to visit the National Basilica
This place is unreal!
We had so much fun walking around and enjoying how massive this building it. It is a true masterpiece inside and out.
All the pictures and decor is made out of tiny mosaic pieces. They were beautiful! It was breathtaking
We then headed over to the National Cathedral
It is also a massive, beautiful building. However you have to pay to go inside so we just enjoyed the outside. We spent most of our time trying to find the Darth Vadar gargoyle! We found it, but they put it way up at the top and you can only see it with a good zoom. Its tough to spot.
He is in the picture but I doubt you'll find him. So tiny because it's so far away!

Then a stop at Reagan Airport to enjoy some plane spotting. Will found some friends (of course) and had a good time playing while Addison and I enjoyed the warmth of the car.
