Our spring break happened to be the same week that the Saunders spring break was so Heidi and kids came up and spent the entire week with us! It was great and the cousins had a blast.
Our first day together we headed out to D.C. to enjoy the nice weather and visit the National Zoo.
The animals were lively and so it was enjoyable to be there and watch them.

Good thing we were separated by glass because these Gorillas seemed slightly angry and would stare people down.... but very entertaining to watch.

It was hot enough that they had the mists spraying. It felt so good and a few times the kids just stood underneath for a few minutes and were soaking wet. But it really was hot and with all the walking involved we were all dying!

I got to see the pandas in the San Diego Zoo! I think they are only in 3 zoos: San Diego, Atlanta and DC. Pretty neat!
