4th of July

Emalei and Teo were able to spend a little bit of time with us in Winchester before heading home to Seattle. Even better they were here for the 4th of July.  After picking them up we headed home and the boys had a good time with some water balloons. Thanks to Janet we had some awesome water balloons that filled up and tied themselves within a matter of seconds, it was amazing!

We then had a great time lighting sparklers, doing pop-its and some tanks!

Then next day we headed out to Marker-Miller orchards. I've been wanting to go for awhile and its only 10 minutes from home. It was super fun! We were there for over 3 hours!

Every 30 minutes they had a revolutionary war canon going off. The guy explained a bit about the canon and war and then we watched him light the canon. It was loud and very neat!

The cow train was free... the boys rode it a couple of times :)

They also had a huge play area for kids that the boys spent hours on. We packed a picnic and also bought a few treats in the orchard cafe area: apple cider donuts and ice-cream cones. While the boys played, Emalei and I sat on the porch in rocking chairs and watched the boys and enjoyed the BEAUTIFUL scenery. It was great!

We also drove around Winchester and showed them what a cute town this is. We spent some time at the splash pad and overall had a great time. We always love getting together with Emalei and Teo. Good Times!
