A few weeks back we took a day trip to Hershey Pennsylvania. We had a GREAT day! We already are looking forward to going back. The town of Hershey is pretty cute, all the names of the roads have something to do with chocolate and there was lots to see and do.
Check out the street light... shaped like a kiss!
We went to the main Chocolate World where they offered a lot of different fun activities. We chose to do the free chocolate tour, but we were not disappointed.
There is tons to look at in the store. Lots of different sections with candy everywhere. There were also shops you can buy different Hershey desserts, we each chose a few different candies to take home.
They have a free tour, which I expected to be a lot of reading signs and walking.... But, it was a ride and it was so much fun. Especially for a 3 year old and his parents who love cheesy things like that!
Singing cows... Will loved them
You ride through the process of making Chocolate, it was interesting.
The 2nd time riding through we were stopped at the end by a man asking if we would be willing to take a 20 minute survey so that Hershey can continue improving. Sure, why not? Turned out to be awesome! He took us through the back of the factory into a conference room where 3 Hershey executives were sitting. There was endless amounts of candy that we could sample while we talked about things we did and didn't like about our experience. At the end we were given a large gift bag full of candy, probably 30-40$ worth.... We were pretty happy!
Driving around Hershey, this is their high school sitting up on a hill that says "Welcome to Hershey". It would be fun to go to the theme park someday and maybe do a few other things. Anyone who comes to visit we'll definitely have to go!!!!

I want to go! It sounds like a Willy Wonka type adventure. I also love "cheesy" things to do and see.
I'll be there. I love doing anything like this!
