Our wedding gift to Jeff and Abbie back in May was a double date to Monticello with dinner after. We finally were able to plan a date and couldn't have asked for better weather or company. Fun was had by all!
We met in Charlottesville, VA which is just about midway between both of us.

Abbie was the only one of us who had been to Monticello before and she showed us these amazing 'sensitive' plants that when touched, curl up. They were SO neat!!
Absolutely beautiful! 360 views. Such an amazing location! Thomas Jefferson really was incredibly smart and inventive as we learned.
We also had the most fantastic tour guide on earth! His life dream was to retire and move here to be a tour guide and he was incredible!
We went to dinner after and then headed home. It was a quick trip but so fun to do together and I loved being able to visit Monticello.
