life update

Visiting our friend Angel at her house. So exciting for the kids. They love her dogs, her fishpond and her treasure box full of old hot wheels cars!

We ended up dog-sitting for a few days and the kids absolutely loved it! We went to her house twice each day to play with and feed the dogs.

Climbing her apple trees. She also let us pick fruit from the apples and pear trees which we made into dried pears and applesauce! So yummy!

This picture is actually from last May I believe. We had Harold, Jeanna and kids come visit and explore D.C.. They stayed with us for a few days and Will made sure to dress similarly to Mackson. I had to take a picture!

Our friends moved and gave us this carpet rug. Its really nice and soft and Will asked if he could sleep on it! He slept on it all night and loves to play with toys in his room now. Poor thing doesn't remember what carpet feels like. Hardwood in bedrooms is awful! So uncomfortable!

Labor day. Last day the pool was open and we had a great time with friends.

End of summer reading party.

Addison loves when I let her play with the shaving cream during baths. We make snakes and ice-cream cones.

Treat with mom. I had an all day church activity and promised a treat for the kids if they were good at my friends. It was a well deserved treat!

Will came home with the idea that he wanted to pick up garbage along the walking path. So we invited our neighbors and picked up A LOT of garbage. Kids thought it was great. We ended up doing it a few more times in the following weeks.
