We have been wanting to make this vacation since we moved back East and finally made it happen this year! We originally planned to fly and rent a car, but at the last minute the flights were full so we hurriedly packed the van and made it into a road trip. It ended up being perfect and we had such a blast exploring and driving through 11 States and covering over 1600 miles!
We were able to see some gorgeous New England fall foliage. The colors were beautiful!
VERMONT
We made it up to Joseph Smith's birthplace in Sharon, Vermont. It was fun to be there and see the memorial.
Where the house used to lie, with the original hearthstones
Having a little fun before getting back in the car. We all joined in and it was fun to get dizzy.
NEW HAMPSHIRE
We stopped and visited all the Ivy League universities that we were close too. Dale said he was trying to send our kids subliminal messages.... Dartmouth, in Hanover, NH. They all had such beautiful campuses and buildings.

Love the pictures of the kids. Rolling down the hill reminds me of being a kid and rolling on the Manti Temple hill. What??? Dale wants his kids to go to a school OTHER than BYU? If I am still around... I want them to come to BYU and be close to Grandma!
