CONNECTICUT
Yale University
I found this Amazing place in Connecticut and was so excited to go visit. It was called Castle Craig. It was a beautiful drive and we wished that we would have had our bikes... sort of, it would have been a tough climb!
At the top of the castle- the views were 360 and you could see forever. It was pretty spectacular.
We stopped on the drive back down because you could see the castle up on the mountain.
Hartford
This is an arch in the city park that honors the soldiers from Hartford that served and died in the Civil War. Specifically those who fought in the "Battle of Antietam", and since we have visited and live close to Antietam we thought it was cool to see.
Mark Twain house and museum. Too pricey (and boring for the kids) to go inside, but we did see it!
And last but not least the Hartford, Connecticut LDS Temple. So beautiful!!! We spent a long time playing and enjoying the grounds before making the long drive back home to Virginia.
