On Dec, 10 Will had surgery to remove his tonsils and adenoids. He was only bummed to be missing the last 2 weeks of school. But he didn't even technically miss 'school' because we did virtual. But he was sad to miss his friends. He wasn't nervous at all and handled everything so well. He was excited to wear his jammies, and not have to brush his teeth the morning of. He must have been excited because he woke up even earlier than we needed to!

| Before taking him into surgery he was able to walk through the bunny hole and choose any toy he wanted. He immediately grabbed a can of silly string to be able 'to get my dad'. The nurses all thought that was great! |

| Waking up from anesthesia wasn't great and he was feeling pretty miserable for a few hours, but then perked up and really did well. He only ever complained about his jaw hurting, but once we were able to get that fixed he was fine. He enjoyed eating jello, popsicles and all soft foods and recovery was thankfully not too bad! Yay for no more snoring! |
