We flew to Chicago for a really short visit to meet up with Harold, Jeanna and kids. It was short and sweet but we had a great time! We miss them and it was so great to catch up.
We spent the day wandering around Chicago and seeing a few sites.
The Bean
It's a beautiful city that I would love to explore more sometime!
Gratefully we happened upon these water features. It was SO hot and humid so it was nice to cool off a bit. Will got drenched, clothes and all.
I can't remember what this building is.... The newspaper perhaps?.... Anyway, it has pieces from all over the world attached to it. Great wall of China, Iron Curtain, World Trade Centers, Different Cathedrals that we recently visited in Europe etc. Pretty cool to wander around and see them.
Back to the airport to come home. Daddy teaching kids all about different airplanes!!

Love the bean! It's one of my favorite Chicago sites! We have been to Chicago several times and have never seen the rest of what you saw. How great!
