Kolob Reservoir
A few weeks ago some friends from the ward invited us to go camping with them at Kolob Reservoir for the 4th of July weekend. Kolob is just north of Zion National Park. The drive to get there was fantastic!! Really a site to see. There were three couples from our ward and then two other couples that were friends of our friends. We got up to the camp around 6 pm cause Leisa had to work on Friday and then spent the night and came back about 2 pm on Saturday. It was kind of short, but we enjoyed it a lot! Loved it, in fact. The weather was really nice and the company was great as well! We thought we would go swimming but once two of the guys jumped in and we saw their reactions, it was not going to happen. It must have been freezing cause they couldn't talk once they had jumped in. Gary, one of our friends was the most successful fisher of the group. He caught two fish on the first day and so we took some pictures for proof. He and his wife Megan have the cutest little kid, Tucker. He gets everyone's attention and all he wanted to do all weekend was play in the dirt and get as dirty as possible. As you can tell, he succeeded. So all in all, it was a great weekend of camping. For some reason, when I load the pictures, it is just a bunch of text, so I will just have to leave them in the order they came in. Sorry.
